WHAT IS YOUR BODY TYPE?

KNOW YOUR BODY TYPE!!!

Before you start training and diet, it is a good idea to discover your body type. Not every body is created equal. Knowing which body type you are will assist to tailor your exercise and diet plan and set realistic goals for desired results.
There are three basic body types which are:
  1. Ectomorph - Marked by a lack of much fat or muscle tissue - Narrow hips and clavicles, small joints (wrist/ ankles), thin build, stringy muscle bellies and long limbs.
  2. Mesomorph - Defined by a well-developed musculature - Wide clavicles, narrow waist, thinner joints, long and round muscle bellies.
  3. Endomorph - Characterized by preponderance of body fat - Blocky, thick rib cage, wide/thicker joints, hips as wide (or wider) than clavicles and shorter limbs.



Each of these structures creates illusions. This means that an ectomorph will naturally look thinner than he or she really is, a mesomorph will look proportioned even if little weight is gained and an endomorph will look heavier when ripped.

GOAL: Aim to make yourself look like a mesomorph....
